DANIELLE & DUNCAN,

Some couples just are fun, and these two take the cake!

Duncan proposed on April Fools’ Day. Yep. Bold move. Naturally, Danielle's first reaction was, “Ha! Good one.” But then then she realized this was not a prank. A real proposal. A real “yes".

So when it came time for their engagement photos, we knew exactly where to go, right back to the spot. Same place, but this time with way less shock and way more champagne, oh and their puppy Bowie.

There’s something so special about revisiting a place that already holds so much meaning. It added this extra layer of sentiment to an already magical evening, and I swear the backdrop looked even better knowing the history behind it.

Soooo moral of the story, I 10/10 recommend getting engaged on April Fools Day and then slaying your engagement photos in the exact spot it happened. No pranks here just love & champagne showers.

A photographers note to couples planning their engagement session: If you’re planning your own engagement session, think about locations that tell your story. The photos will be beautiful no matter where we shoot, but when there’s a personal connection to the place, it makes the memories and your photos even richer.
